No, your water pressure will not change.

Our system is optimized for flow rates between 8 to 13 gallons per minute but is capable of effectively filtering up to 18 gallons per minute, without affecting water pressure. Most homes—even larger ones—rarely operate at such high flow rates. If flow exceeds this range, the system will still function without reducing water pressure. Filtration efficiency may be slightly reduced at peak flow at 18 gpm, but homes typically do not reach those levels, even larger homes. For higher flow demands, multiple systems can be installed in parallel, which will not affect the water pressure.

The life expectancy of the whole-house water filter depends on the model you choose. The 500SS model lasts up to 4 years, while the 750SS model lasts up to 6 years. Unlike most companies that require yearly or biannual filter replacements, this system is far more cost-effective in the long run. You only need to replace the filter media inside, not the entire system.

It depends on your water source. We typically recommend performing a backwash every 8-10 months. However, if your water is highly contaminated, you may want to do a backwash more frequently

As of January 2024, you no longer need to continually replace the filters in this whole house water filtration system. The company introduced a SuperOxy regeneration solution that restores the filters to “like new” condition. You can use the SuperOxy solution up to five times before replacing the filter is necessary. For the 500ss, the SuperOxy regeneration is used every four years, meaning the filters will last up to 20 years. For the 750ss, the regeneration is needed every six years, allowing the filters to last up to 30 years before needing replacement. This feature will save you significant money, as filter replacements can be expensive, and many companies rely on frequent replacements for revenue.

The location of your main water line (or main shut-off valve) can vary depending on where you live. In southern regions, the main shut-off valve is typically located outside. In northern areas, where pipes may freeze, the shut-off valve is usually found inside the house—often in the garage, basement, or a closet. Our whole house filtration system can be installed with any shut-off valve, as long as there is enough space for the system. The Point of Entry filter is designed to filter all the water entering your home. It is installed where the main water line enters the house, ensuring that every water pipe in your home, from faucets to showers and appliances, is supplied with clean, filtered water.

It depends on the number of people living in your home and how many bathrooms you have. For example, if you have a 6,500-square-foot home with 5 bathrooms but only 2 people living there, one system should be sufficient. However, if you have more than 3 people, we recommend purchasing a second system. The second system would connect to your main shut-off valve, with both systems running in parallel to ensure optimal filtration for your entire home.

Yes, you can, but you’ll need to consult your condominium board first. The board will need to approve the installation of a 57-pound (500ss) or 84-pound (750ss) system on your floor. Some condominium may also allow the system to be placed in a closet where the main shut-off valve is located. If the condominium does not approve, we offer exceptional point-of-use filters, such as our Shower Filter and Undersink Water Filter.
